While the infamous damage tilt bug being fixed is nice, I prefer the damage tilting to right no matter the direction. Is it possible to make a mod that reimplements this feature into 23w03a and newer versions?

If so, it would mean a lot as I don't really enjoy the new damage tilt and I don't see Mojang adding a toggle for the broken version.
