It would be awesome if for the 1.20.1 version:

1. The Lateral and Inverted hoppers had accelerated versions.
2. This mod's hoppers had sticky version like the Sticky Hopper mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sticky-hopper.
3. This mod's hoppers worked with the Hopper Tweaks mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/hopper-tweaks
4. This mod's hoppers worked with the Framed Hopper mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/framed-hopper
5. This mod's hoppers worked with the Hopper Bucket mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/hopper-bucket

I used CraftTweaker to add recipes to convert a normal hopper to a Lateral Hopper, and a Lateral Hopper to a Inverted Hopper, and then from Inverted to Normal, so that I can easily switch them around if I have to tear-down/alter my hopper setup. You might want to consider adding that to the mod as well, for everyone else...
