• Place an AE2 bus, for example an export bus with no cable
• With construction mode and an AE2 ME cable, shift right click as you would normally place it
• Entire dank deletes itself. Just disappears.
  

The relevant mods' versions are: dank storage 1.19.2-4.3, ae2 12.9.2

EDIT: I'm pretty sure this only happens when there's exactly one AE2 cable in the selected dank slot

Blacklist the item from being used then, I'm not special casing modded items.
