The colored slime blocks are confusing, because they do not work with pistons. The ordinary slime blocks should connect to all colored slime blocks and colored slime blocks should connect to matching colored slime blocks

The colored slime blocks were removed from the mod a long time ago, although they did work like this if you had the right update.
