Explain your idea

It would be useful to be able to announce the server’s IP address to Discord. I am running my Minecraft server on my home PC, but I have a dynamic external address.

I was previously getting this functionality via a plugin for PaperMC, but we are looking to transition to Forge.

If this is platform-dependant, which platform is this about?

This sounds like a job for Dynamic DNS.
