Deeper Darker Mobs only render when within a 1 chunk range of the player. [Fabric 1.20.1]

Moving away from them causes them to not render at all. Seems to effect all mobs from this mod. This doesn't happen on 1.2.6

Is your entity view distance large enough? If so, what is your mod list?

I have entity render distance set to 100%

The only mods I'm using to reproduce this issue are QFAPI, owo lib 0.11.2, and deeper and darker 1.3.2.1
