There is a minor, visual compatibility issue between Diagonal Walls and Better Walls. Better Walls allows connections between Walls and Fences, Fences and Nether Fences, Fences and Panes/Bars, and Walls/Fences to Signs. If Diagonal Walls is also enabled, the Fences will visually connect to Walls, but the Walls will not visually connect to Fences (or Signs).

The attached image shows the intended connections in the front (placed without Diagonal Walls) and the non-connecting behavior in the back (placed with Diagonal Walls).

Related to this, none of the connections added by Better Walls work diagonally, which I suppose is to be expected but creates inconsistent behavior. For example, an Oak and Nether Brick Fence connect side by side but not at a diagonal (diagonal of one type or the other works as intended). If possible, it would be nice to see support/compatibility for Better Walls or perhaps adding config options to Diagonal Walls/Fences/Windows to add the same connections offered by Better Walls.

Maybe you can ask the author of Better Walls for support, they could just add a couple more mixins for the diagonal blocks.
