when placing diagonal panels next to normal, it caused this gap inbetween them.

that part im looking at at edge of diagonal one is wrongly rotated, thus its not connecting properly

That's an inconvenience with the glass pane model. For fences and walls this is no issue as the post model part is wider than the outgoing pieces. For glass panes everything is the same width, which causes this gap you see.

There are no plans to change this.
