There's a couple of mods that already have (or had) support that have received updates recently that have added new foods or changed existing ones.

• Simply Tea (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/simply-tea) - Added a new food item.
• Habitat (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/bloom-and-gloom) (Formerly known as Bloom and Gloom. The support for this mod will need to be completely redone as it has changed names which also changed all the items in it too.)
