If you have hero of the village you randomly get items from villagers and if you have guard villagers you can access there inventories.

Would it be possible to give a bonus through a different means?

I know LevelZ does it differently.

This was something I was worried about while making this power... This is certainly something that I am planning on coming back to since I feel that hero of the village is a band-aid solution. I wanted to implement a better feature but the idea became very complicated very fast, and so I decided to give hero of the village as to not hold up the release of the mod. I'll leave this issue open until I come up with a better solution, I really appreciate sharing another snippet of code for my inspiration :)
