What happened?

I run a server and i'm starting to get complaints that people are losing their XP just by walking through a dimensional door into a pocket dimension. I've tested this and can confirm this happens every time we use dimensional doors to enter another dimension, XP set to 0. Is there a known fix to this issue or any steps i can take to resolve it? Sometimes XP returns when we come back to the overworld, sometimes it does not.

Forge 14.23.5.2860 for 1.12.2 (latest & recommended)

Literally nothing about any of this is logged, i've checked the logs and i can walk in and out of dimensions without anything being logged~
