When pulling enchants off a tool, have option to select which enchant(s) you want. This way if there are enchants you want to keep on the tool (maybe you only want to take the curse off or you find a item with an enchant that's incompatible with the enchant you prefer to use, like infinity vs mending) and you're not wasting levels pulling enchants off and apart from each other just to put some of them back on the equipment.

Alternatively, prioritize curses first to be separated first and then enchantments with incompatibilities second.

You could also include a config file to change settings such as the xp costs, whether you can select specific enchants or it's priority order or random order.

Also, currently, putting a book into the disenchantment table causes it to automatically separate an enchantment before you click on the outcome, unlike with vanilla block GUIs which don't immediately process your items, which gives you a chance to rethink or save yourself from removing enchants from the wrong item, if you accidentally put the wrong item in.
