Silk touch interacts strangely with stone and biomes of plenty gems. It is possible this behavior extends to other blocks but those are the two I ran into.
Each strata layer drops a different stone when using silk touch, the results are consistent per strata.
Bop gem ore drop different gem ore than the one seen, for example topaz was dropping ruby.

I confirm this problem.
