[Feature Request] Portable Doggy Carrier

Disclaimer: I am copy/pasting a post I made on the original Doggy Talents mod's github back in 2020. I still think this is a good idea and would love to see it impleented. (Also cause there are no mods that can transport the dog entity without it getting stuck in said transporting item)
"Ever since the 1.2.5 days, I've always wanted a way to carry my dogs around if need be. Not having to use the Bed Finder skill to get them on my head. I want to be able to carry them through portals and over long distances with little bother. Yes, I know boats can seat two entities so crossing an ocean isn't an issue and yes, you can push you dog through portals but I've always feared I might just lose them to some glitch. What if I'm teleporting using Xaero's Minimap/World Map? Will my dog be able to follow without issue every time? What if my dog is about to die while I'm running from way too many cave spiders? I want to be able to scoop up my precious cargo and book it to the next county if need be."
Also, since you seem to be a big Okami fan (so am I), the "doggy carrier" could be a loyalty orb. :)
Ah okay then. I did not know there were so many ways of keeping my dogs woth me. Although I haven't used the original Doggy Talents in a long time, I just remember the stress of always going "Is my dog still with me?" One time, I lost a dog from teleportation and since it didn't have radio collar, well.. bye bye, pup. Then, a dog got stuck in the Nether cause it went through the portal, attacked the zombie piglins on sight, I was killed for it and had to think on my next decisions carefully since Zombie piglins were still forever aggressive back when provoked.
And I agree, Okami was and still is a great game. I do not miss the mini game where you have to draw for the guy in Sei-an City to get the stray bead. Drawing was rough on Playstation back then.
Oh a thing about the piglins attack stuff, you can set your dog to Besserker Minor (Bm) or Guard Flat (Gb) to avoid the dog attacking piglins or endermans!
Although i would still recommend attaching either a radio collar or any Locator Orbs to your doggos... Well you can still found your dog back even if you lose your dog due to forgetting to put it on but... you would have to wait a bit ๐
, since the Conducting Bone is not easy to craft ๐
Meanwhile i played on PC so yeah, the brush was soo enjoyable for me ๐คฃ Although i am still haven't found all the beads yet ๐
I intentionally made the dog unable to be restored from third-party storage since this avoids duplications when you right click the dog 's bed after restoring your dog from the storage which you can replicate in the old mod. You can still get your dog back from its bed or using \dog revive
though.
Currently there are several implementations to help you carrying your dogs around effortlessly within the mod itself. The most straightforward method is via the Conducting Bone, which you can use to summon your dog from anywhere in the world regardless if the dog is loaded or not or teleport it back to its bed. A cheaper alternative would be The Heel By Name whistle but notice that it only works in a radius. About teleporting across dimensions, there is an option within the Dog Menu you can turn on called Cross-Origin Teleport, turning it on will make the dog auto teleport with you when you tp to another dimension (notice that dogs now blocks portal by default). All of the above teleportation is done with safety in mind so you don't have to worry about your dog tp-ing into questionable area.
Also if the dog is on Low Health and Low Health Strategy is Stick To Owner, dog will try its best to stay close to you so they can flee alongside you.
Nice, both of us (me and the other author) are in fact a big fan of Okami, it is the best thing happened to me in the gaming world. The animations if not the whole mod is greatly inspired by it! Also we does have a "Loyalty Orb" which is called the "Chu Orb" (Chu is Loyalty in japanese) inspired directly from Hayabusa's orb. But it is currently mainly a radio collar alternative and asthetics.
