Illegal State Exception from Third Party Storage Causes Infinite Crash

I tried to use the Mob Net Launcher mod to move my dog and now it keeps trying to load then throwing an Illegal State Exception and crashing each time I try and start again. I can't even get in to remove the entity or anything because it immediately crashes. I think its still trying to release my dog each time but then throws the error and can't get past it. I've tried about 15 times now. I'm going to try and edit the actual world files next but as of now my game is unusable.
You also need a bigger warning if this is an intended issue pls, I only even found out about the issue with third party storage because I had to look it up for this and found it on the Wiki. I don't think I would have thought about it causing an issue until I had already done it and my world locked up....
downgrading to before the duplicate check was added (16.3) allowed me to get my world back, but I did lose a lot of the dogs data. I may have also been ablr to remove and re-add mob nets, but I had a lot of mobs in nets that I didn't want to risk losing.
