[QOL Request] - unloaded chunks and missing puppies

We've been running this mod for awhile now and my users love it to bits. So here is the problem we have: if a user teleports away or moves too quickly, the pet gets swallowed into a chunk that is unloading. Radars can't save you when that happens!
I've spent quite a deal of time hunting down lost pets for people and have developed quite the knack for using nbt explorer to search all world chunks for a matching entity name - but perhaps this could be solved in the mod?
I'm proposing a check to happen before a chunk is scheduled to unload. If a dog that is set to follow happens to be in that chunk, teleport them to their owner before the unload occurs.
An alternate solution would be to track dog coordinates when they get unloaded and drop in a /dogs command with clickable links to each owned dog and their last known location if unloaded. May overwrite OR interplay with radar functionality.
Finding lost dogs has made me a server hero, but I'll gladly relinquish the role of professional animal tracker for an update on this!
