I have some dogs, all of which I would like to commemorate in Minecraft. How do I add a new dog texture?

Create a resource pack with doggytalents as one of the resource names. If you look at the way the path structure is for the mod, just simply follow that structure within the resource pack and name your picture doggytex#, with # as the number.

I've linked the path of the dog textures in my previous message, this should give you a good idea on how the naming convention goes for the textures :)
