Recipes don't work on Multiplayer

Environment And Mod Information:

  • Minecraft Version: 1.14.4
  • Forge Version: 28.1.9
  • Doggy Talents Version: 1.14.4-1.15.2.0
  • Java Version: lmao idk
  • Operating System (OS): windows 7 64 bit

Issue Description:

Trying to play with my friend on multiplayer server (just two of us) and the mod works fine in singleplayer (also with forge installed) but when we try to do multiplayer, the recipes don't work. They don't show up, I cannot craft them, nothing works.

We tried spawning the items via command line, and the multiplayer server claims they don't exist. (this works in single player)

We tried using creative mode to spawn the items, THIS works in multiplayer, but when you open craft bench it deletes the item out of the inventory. Mystery.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. recipes dont work
  2. thats it
  3. thats the issue
  4. pls help obi wan youre our only hope

The problems you describe just sound like the server isn't running the mod. Is it possible you started the server using the minecraft-server.1.14.4.jar instead of the forge______.jar and so the server isn't even running forge?
