My dog got on my head without me noticing, and when i noticed, he was red. now when i try to feed him by hand or bowl raw foods, he just sits down. he responds the same way with treats and bones, too.

Your dog is in incapacitated mode. Feed him cake (or change revive item in config) to beable to interact with them again.
