Patrol Mode does not seem to do anything

Environment And Mod Information:

  • Minecraft Version: 1.16.4
  • Forge Version: 35.1.29
  • Doggy Talents Version: 1.16.4-2.0.1.2
  • Java Version: 8 Update 271
  • Operating System (OS): windows 10

Issue Description:

When dog is set to patrol mode, there is no way to set patrol points (command emblem no longer exists) and the dog
does not attack any mobs when they draw near. The dog just wanders around without doing anything.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Get a dog
  2. Set dog to patrol mode
  3. Watch dog not really do anything other than walk around
  4. Spawn mobs near dog, and watch dog not attack them

Additional Information:

  • More Details: The Whistle does not have anything to make Patrol mode work. I have tried out every whistle command and the patrolling dogs do not react to anything. I cannot find anything about patrol mode on this wiki, and this wiki is what is linked to the curse forge page for this mod.

Discovered that this mode is still a work in progress, so I am closing this discussion.
