Dog in Guard Mode locks on unreachable target.

Issue Description:
- First of all, I would like to thank the devs for making this awesome mod! For the issue, my dog seems to focus too much on an entity standing on a platform that is 4 blocks above where the dog is standing on even though the target is unreachable. He seems to be standing there forever and staring at the target. I have tested it with some newly trained dogs in different worlds and it still happens. I hope that is not Minecraft's limitation on the vanilla dog A.I though.
- I just retested it with a vanilla dog and it happens with skeletons too, i wonder if the A.I could be modified to solve the issues though.
Steps to reproduce:
- Get a dog and train him
- Set the dog to Guard Mode
- Place a block which has y = y(ground) +4
- Spawn a zombie on the block.

Thanks a lot. I understand that you are so busy, that's why I just hope that you take your time, the bug isn't a huge issue as it could be worked around, it also looks kinda funny though and I like that XD Still thanks a lot for spending your time developing this awesome mod which is now essential to me. I also wonder how the original mod creator (RaustBlackDragon) is doing now cause haven't seen any activity from him today?
Hey, thanks for taking the time to create this issue and I'm sorry I didn't get round to resolving it. I've not worked on this project for a while and have decided to archive the git repository.
