Issue Description:

Me and my friend, we are playing with a lot of mods in a modpack that we created. When he summons a dog with doggy talents, and use a stick, he can't open the GUI for the Dog talents. We tried everything. We retired all mods from the modpack besides doggy talents, and nothing. I summoned a normal minecraft wolf, we gave him treats and he tried. Nothing. We tried in more than one world. Nothing.
Only I can open the GUI menu.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Friend summons a dog with doggy talents
2. Use a stick
3. He can't open the GUI for the Dog talents, but I can
4. Tried on multiple worlds.

Do you have the "Obey Others" option set to true? Also, is he the one taming the dogs first, or are you doing so? I also went and tweaked your issue to match with the template.

He is taming his dogs, but he can't open the GUI. And when I set my dog to obey others he still can't open my dog's GUI.

Can you get any of the mod's guis to open? Did you try every item that would trigger the guis? (stick to open the main menu, plank to open the dog inventory)

Hello. Got this bug too and seems like I know whats the problem.
I tried to open training gui with stick on my 1.7.10 server and gui dont show up.
But in single player everything is ok.
I noticed only one small difference between thoose two cases.
I got waila installed too, so in top of my screen small window told me that I am owner of my dog on singleplayer and "unknown player" is dog's owner on multiplayer server.
