On my server, someone can use the deed on their pet and bind it, but then no one else can use the deed to transfer ownership. Neither clicking the air nor the pet itself does anything. Only the original owner can use the binded deed, which just gives the pet's ownership to themself (defeating the purpose).

Not sure if this is the result of a permissions mod or something else; we have the FTB suite of permissions mods on our server.
