Pet beds are a great feature, as they allow tamed mobs to respawn should they be slain during exploration. However, I do wish there was a way to make sure that my pet is bound to the bed before I go out exploring with them, just as a means to make sure I won't lose them. Currently the only way to make sure a pet is bound as far as I'm aware is to break the pet bed, which is redundant since that'd remove the bind anyways.

I propose a simple means to check pets that are bound to a bed, just to make sure you won't permanently lose your companions. It could be as simple as sneaking while looking at a Pet Bed will show a list of pets bound to the bed, similar to how tamed mobs show their enchantments when looked at while sneaking. If a pet has been renamed, then it'll show the mob type in parenthesis (i.e "Jellie (Cat)").
