Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Are you using the latest MineColonies Verison?

  • I am running the latest alpha version of MineColonies for my Minecraft version.

Did you check on the Wiki? or ask on Discord?

  • I checked the MineColonies Wiki and made sure my issue is not covered there. Or I was sent from discord to open an issue here.

What were you playing at the time? Were you able to reproduce it in both settings?

  • Single Player
  • Multi Player

Minecraft Version

1.18

MineColonies Version

1.20.1-1.0.1525

Structurize Version

1.20-1.0.510

Related Mods and their Versions

  1. Forge Version: 1.20.1-47.0.19
  2. Domum Ornamentum: 1.20-1.0.100

Current Behavior

  1. Recipes in the center grid of Architects cutter cycle through the material options after placing the required materials in the slots on the left. The output result does not cycle.
  2. Recipes and rendered items in inventory and in-hand differ from the placed item (example is glass + dark oak doors. Create a dark oak trimmed door and it appears one way in the architect cutter and in hand and the opposite when placed). Another issue is the recipe and in-hand images don't match the final result even if you take the switchup into account. For example, a framed door doesn't have the framing material all the way around in the final result unlike in the recipe and inventory/in-hand images.
  3. Breaking doors with glass using a silk touch pick will drop the door if you break the bottom half but not drop the door if you break the top half. Using an axe (with or without silk touch) works as expected.

Expected Behavior

  1. Cycling should really only occur if you have the ability to see a recipe without any materials in the source blocks. This would be nice but I don't believe this is currently possible.
  2. Recipe images, inventory images and in-hand images should match placed images as closely as possible.
  3. Breaking of doors should be consistent. If a regular pick will shatter a door with glass, any part of the door should shatter it. If a silk touch pick shouldn't shatter, it shouldn't shatter on any part.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Put some building material in the Architects cutter then point to a recipe in the center and see that it cycles through the possible materials for that item.
  2. Build a door made of glass and dark oak. notice that the recipe and image of the inventory and in-hand objects are inverted from what is placed (and that the final result isn't really like the images even if they were matched up).
  3. Place a door made with glass (one glass block, two for center and frame, glass + wood or stone, etc) then break with an axe top and bottom. Note that the door breaks fine. Place the same door again and break on the bottom with a silk touch pick. Note the door breaks fine. Place the same door a fourth time and break on the top half with the same silk touch pick. Note the door shatters and is no longer there (similar to breaking vanilla glass blocks and panes with a regular pick).

Also include the drop down for version selection in a bug not including a 1.20.x option

Note that minecolonies doesn't have a public 1.20 version yet. Which is probably why it doesn't include 1.20 in the version selection yet

Ray asked me to add it :)
