Villager's can't find their way into houses with panels as walls

I've built a few villager houses using panels as the walls.
The villagers that live there cannot pathfind with these and instead of using the door just try to run into the walls 🤣
It seems they don't recognise these as blocks
Update: This seems to be all mobs - They all try to pathfind their way through panels
