Trying to read out the total RF percentage currently in the Energy Core. The only way Ive found to read anything out of it is through the energy pylons with a machine reader from Integrated Dynamics.

Problem is that this only reads the energy currently in the pylon, not in the core itself. Connecting to the stabelizers or the core itself does not seem to work.

Ive tried with network reader, machine reader(this one managed to read the pylon, but not the core) and inventory reader.

Is this not possible? Or am I doing something wrong?

Can you not add a NBT tag to the pylons that contains the total amount of RF in the core, Gigabit? There's a number of modpacks that don't include computer craft, and it'd be a pretty simple fix for interfacing with ID and other mods. Otherwise we have to approach a number of mod authors and have them specifically check for your API and ID was designed to try to avoid that approach.

I dont know how ID works but unless it implements DE's extended storage api it wont be able to read the core capacity. Your best bet for this is open computers.

Well, if Integrated Dynamics can't read it, It would be nice if it could. However, that's just a thought.

Im not sure if this is Draconic Evolutions fault, I tried with a RFTools rfmonitor and it will read the core from the pylons just fine.

Let's be honest, It's probably on both ends. It probably reads it differently, therefore Integrated Dynamics, but it's the pylons from DE, so it's probably partly both.

ID will need to use the API to be able to read the reactor due to it not being a normal RF container.
