[1.18] Chaos Guardian has permanent shield, which is unremovable

Description / steps to reproduce

I have removed all chaos crystals from the dragon. However the dragon conserves it's shield making it invincible. There is no way to remove this shield and makes the battle impossible to finish. I believe this is something to do that I'm in a sever and the chunks containing the crystals can't be loaded, so it registers as still existant.

Considering you've opened two issues related to the Chaos Guardian, I suggest you direct further questions to the Brandon's Mods Discord.

Draconic Evolution for Minecraft 1.18.2 is unsupported and doesn't have the same bugfixes that the version of Draconic Evolution for Minecraft 1.20.1 does.

Regardless, the shield does not show up as being damaged on the top bar until it is fully broken. Once you have destroyed all of the crystals, you can and will be able to hit it unless the guardian has activated gravity manipulation.
