Is it possible to have a config option to disable the Advanced Player Detector?

I ask this because a certain OP on a server I run was going to play a small prank by placing the player detector next to a command block, set to teleport a certain player away when that player approached a certain chest. They setup the command block first, now no one can approach that chest, not even to get rid of it.

I will consider adding it in the next version but a faster way would be to just open the world in mcedit and remove the command block
