It would be nice if there was a way to clear contents of energy crystals, fusion injectors or other blocks that the NBT can vary from block to block.

Most mods implement this sort of functionality by putting a block/item in a crafting grid on its own. This would do fine for Draconic Evolution, too.

At the moment, my solution for clearing Relay Crystals and I/O Crystals is to craft them into the other type and back. But that’s hardly ideal.

I made changes to reduce the amount of NBT clutter on the items hopefully this will help. At some point i would like to write something that would allow things like crystals with stored energy to stack properly in your inventory but thats a little ways of.

Is there a reason you cannot reset NBT data as I previously mentioned?

Because it feels like a dirty hack. But if you want it that bad there will be a config option for it in the next release.
