Version EMD 1.0.5 for Minecraft 1.21

I followed the instuctions on how to get any of the dragons but none of them change into the dragon based on the blocks they are surronded by. They all just hatched into End dragons. I tried hatching all the dragons in creative to see if it worked but the only one that worked was the Sylphid Dragon. Dragon Mounts: Legacy mods and more dragons works just fine. Am I missing something?
