Configurations are not generating for 1.16.5 on latest version. Egg spawning is extremely high and I need to disable completely. If a config can not be generated is there a data pack or something I can do to prevent loottables ?

Pretty sure kay9 is just on hiatus right now and the 1.16 version hasn't been supported in over a year. I'm still planning to look into this issue myself, but I have no familiarity with the 1.16 code so no promises on a fix.

It's a long shot but if I took configs from 1.18 version would it work? Lol

Might be worth a shot but I honestly have no idea. I think the whole mod was rewritten between 1.16 and 1.18 which is probably why 1.16 hasn't been touched since.
