[Licensing Question] Can snippets of DragonMounts code (not assets) be modified for personal use?

I am looking into making a personal private mod for use on a small server with some friends and I cant find any good dragon ai code to reference that mimics what I am trying to accomplish. I'm simply using the mod as a reference and the mod will not be published anywhere publicly though because of the licensing stated I wanted to make sure this course of action was permitted.
