i've been disconnected before but i always came back riding my dragon mid air but this time he was completely gone like dead gone and i never found him

This is a vanilla bug. It's rare, however when disconnected on a mount its possible that mount will disappear. Im sorry for the inconvenience but this is something I can't fix.
