Minecraft version 1.16.5 is still probably the biggest modern modding version, with 1.17 and 1.18 yet to catch up in number of ported mods and many modders abandoning ship for the recently release 1.19 (who knows when it will settle again).

As such, I'd like to ask that, if possible, recent changes like the configuration options are backported to the 1.16.5 version, so those of us playing 1.16 modpacks can also enjoy them.

1.16 is behind our development ideals. As much as I'd like to support older versions, I simply can't with the resources I've got. I simply dont have the time, especially since Im currently working with 1.18 and also trying to get 1.19 ported over.
