When utilizing the auto-feeding upgrades from various storage mods (tested with Sophisticated Backpacks and Sophisticated Storage) the upgrade will duplicate food when feeding the player from the container's inventory. To reproduce, place an auto-feeding upgrade into a backpack/shulker box from either mod and allow it to feed the player; it will quickly duplicate stacks of food within the storage container.

Utilizing auto-feeding options in other mods should not duplicate stacks of food.

This does not happen with just Dragon Survival and Sophisticated Storage

Do you have Origins installed?

We do have Origins installed, yes

Another person reported that the problem disappeared after uninstalling Origins
So I'm assuming that the way both mods make items edible interfere with each other

Unfortunate, but understandable. That's a lot of separate interactions with the same system. For now we've implemented a workaround, disabling the auto-feeding modules for Sophisticated Storage and dropping Sophisticated Backpacks entirely.

Probably will need some investigation for 1.21
