My English is not good, please forgive me.
This is an error that I cannot find any reason for. I downloaded the latest version of the mod and its pre mod (I haven't added any other mods besides that). But even after turning into a dragon, I still lock onto the player's two block high perspective, which can probably be reproduced, but I don't have the conditions to experiment.

As of 1.20.1, we have moved to NeoForged as a mod platform. We anticipate that Forge will no longer be in development for versions beyond 1.20.1.

NeoForged and Forge have similar code for Minecraft 1.20.1, but there may be compatibility issues regardless. I recommend you move to NeoForged, as it is the newer of the two and is intended to have backwards compatibility with Forge mods. Going forwards, we have no plans to support Forge or 1.20.1 regardless, and we have newer NeoForged versions in active development.
