Datapacks that are in the resource packs folder are applied to each world (possibly intended?)

So when a datapack is added to a modpack in the CurseForge launcher, this datapack will be installed into the resource packs folder as CurseForge doesn't technically support datapacks, so they had to be moved from the resource packs folder manually after installing the modpack. However, after installing Global Packs, datapacks that are in the resource packs folder are automatically applied to newly created worlds.
To be clear, I love that this is the case and it is a big selling point for this mod for me, but the mod page does not mention this hence I am assuming that it's not intended behavior? If so, instead of just patching it out, could you maybe make it a optional feature so we modpack devs can utilize it?
Edit: Forgot to mention, this is happening on Minecraft 1.19.2, with Forge 43.1.15, and Global Packs version 1.14.2
Thanks for your feedback, I added it to the curseoforge page.
This is indeed intentional and even configurable.
Just remove the folder from the list for datapacks in the config,
or replace it with specific packs if you want.
