Have a config option to disable the auto effect enchants such as snowball, Chilling, Electrified, etc from triggering on friendly and/or neutral creaturs.
Also maybe a blacklist to disable it from targeting specific mobs.

It exists. Look for effectTargetBlacklist in the config.
