Dynamic FPS doesn't enforce 1 FPS properly.

When enforcing the FPS to be reduced while having other optimization mods installed; Dynamic FPS starts to struggle at trying to keep the FPS down and instead goes down to 60+ or related,

The system GC flush will however slow down by a ton instead of continuing to climb really fast.

Is the FPS actually 60 though? I think e.g. with Sodium it looks like it's not working but if you look at your game, you can clearly tell the FPS is as low as it should be, and CPU usage is similarly reduced.

I probably think that sodium has an issue with certain mods like this one where the F3 refreshes too quickly and causes the FPS to remain inconsistent in some places. Not sure if it is even possible to fix that at all with either this mod or outside of it.

To be clear, what you're seeing is consistent with this just being an issue of the F3 screen displaying incorrect data, right?

i assume so, correct. Although while the F3 makes it impossible to tell that it's actually 1 FPS; the performance did drop in an instant.

Perfect, that confirms it. I think I'd have to mix in differently in order for it to look right with Sodium, but that seems complicated to figure out, so I think it's fine lol.
