I've been trying to set up a minecraft modpack for forge and I added dynamic surroundings 1.20.x for the cool sound it makes when you pull out a tool ( using sinytra connector ). I tested it out in a new world, the ambient noises were there but not the crafting and tool sounds. I tried using the official dynamic surroundings mod ( the one using architectury api ) and it also didn't work.

I ran back to rlcraft and checked the dynamic surroundings mod, it had many other mods forged together into one mod like presence footsteps and matmos. I tested both and only presence footsteps was working.

Crafting sounds requires server-side support, or the crafting event being routed client side. Dynamic Surroundings is a 100% client side mod. IIRC the toolbar sounds were disabled by default in the 1.20.x versions and would have to be enabled.
