In case of issues experienced here are the known challenges for the individual sound config menu:

• Minecraft sound engine does not tick sounds when game is paused. This will cause the number of sounds played in the config menu to build up and eventually stop playing. Closing/opening the menu will clear it out.
• When entering information into the search field the scroll region may blank out. To fix hover over the region and use the scroll wheel.
• Tooltip positioning and layering. It renders behind some controls, and when rendered covers up controls.
