[1.16.4] Fog enhancement

Hello,
Would it be possible to add a config so that the distance of the fog can be configured to suit the situation (when we are in caves, at the layer of the bedrock, etc...)?
By the way, when the cave fog is activated on a flat world, it's extremely high because we are at a low layer. Is there a solution to this problem?
The bedrock fog is a complicated calculation. Essentially its the same logic that MC used back before they removed bedrock fog. I would have to check to see if it would be possible to assign distances. As for superflat - I am aware. There were changes in 1.16.4 that hid some things from me and I am looking for a way to detect superflat worlds.
