I was making a modpack and wanted to put Dynamic Surroundings into it. But I've been having some problems with that. When I put it in the Mods folder in Forge, and enter the game the mod just doesn't work, can anyone help me?

What version of Minecraft, Forge, and Dynamic Surroundings are you using? Need specific version numbers.

Make sure you use the latest version of Dynamic Surroundings, which as of this AM is 4.0.3.10.

I need this info too. I tried to install java 15.0.2 SE Development Kit and set the path in environment variables and I have forge 36.0.10 installed. I can boot the game to just before the terrain loads in...(I can see the hotbar) and then it crashes saying that the java version used in the mod uses a newer java version. (I removed all other mods by the way). Dynamic Surroundings 4.0.3.6 - 1.16.4

Thank you for patching this up! It works, sounds, and looks great! Cheers! Now to try and get shader pack makers to make their packs compatible with your mod...they make all transparency opaque.

minecraft: 1.16.5, Dynamic surroundings: also 1.16.5

This may be a weird question, but did you install Forge? In the past couple weeks I have encountered several players that did not do that step.
