I have been playing on a world for a while now, and I had about 5 partially mature Ashens. For some reason, when I felled them, I got the fruit and logs, yet no seeds at all. Is this a bug or an intended feature to make you have to keep getting seeds from Sniffers?

You need to harvest the fruit and get the seeds from them by crafting them with a dirt bucket
