I recently discovered an interesting mod, "Buildable Campfire" (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/buildable-campfire), that performs a campfire overhaul which, in my opinion, is nicely tuned with EarlyGame's proposal.

So there goes the suggestion: what if we develop an integration for the two mods?
