As the title suggest, this would be a welcome addition.
It's the only thing keeping me from using the mod in 1.21 and quite frankly steel doesn't feel right, despite iron already being a thing.

It makes even less sense as to why steel items would be part of a mod called "Early" Stage, as it is out of scope.
