I want to use Ears as a skin fix, but unfortunately the old-school content mods I want to use aren't ported to cursed-fabric yet. (I want to try that myself eventually, but I lack the skills right now.)

You might have luck using OverrideAPI to make that work. It helps modloader mods override things, as the name suggests.

I don't really care about the full functionality of Ears, I mainly just need it for a basic skin fix.
