Unlike Skeletons, which can take damage when their arrows hit a player wearing armor with the Thorns enchantment, Lobber Zombies and Bone Spiders aren't affected at all.

The same problem exists with the More Gems enchantment Untouchable which is basically an improved version of Thorns.
