Well as the title says, i was playing normally on a survival world, when wnchanting a sword i left the sword and enchanted book there inside the anvil to get exp from an exp block i had next to the anvil and when i re-opened the anvil my stuff wasn't there, i thought it might have dropped or despawn but merely seconds passed, at first i thought it was a brainfart or something and my stuff just dissapeared but now it just happened again, idk what may be causing that to dissapear.

just in case it may be of any use, i close the anvil interface with esc button, it happened on an already dmgd anvil (i don't remember how damaged it was).

I just had this happen in v4.0.10 in the Cottage Witch modpack v1.13.3 under MC 1.19. I tried looking in the anvil again, rearranging my inventory, even relogging - things were definitely gone. I suspect what's happening is that when the anvil gets damaged while you're in the UI and you leave things in after that happens, the data of what's in there is attached to the old, less-damaged anvil and no longer exists after you close the UI.

Thanks, that was indeed the issue here. Fixed now in the latest version.
